September 4 ~ Jonathan Jessop ~ Wildlife Tracking: Unraveling the Mysteries Around Us ~ Join Canyonlands National Park Ranger, Jonathan Jessop, as he discusses the art and science of wildlife tracking. Wildlife tracking is an excellent way to enhance your awareness and connection to the natural world. Together, we will explore the fundamentals of tracking while using local species to guide and inform our learning journey.
September 11 ~ Charlotte Quigley ~ SE Utah Community Artist ~ Since 2009, the Community Artist in the Parks program has highlighted the connection between local artists and the landscapes of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, as well as Hovenweep and Natural Bridges National Monuments. Participating artists are residents of Grand, San Juan, or Montezuma counties who spend seven months creating art and talking with park visitors about their inspiration. Join Charlotte Quigley, as she discusses her experience as the 2025 community Artist in the Parks.
