Kokopelli Relay

The Kokopelli Relay, known as the most challenging cycling relay in Utah, invites men, women, and mixed teams of 4 to 8 cyclists to ride or race, non-stop, from Moab to St. George. Desert RATS Kokopelli 150 Stage Race

June 16 - June 22

Racers will run from Grand Junction, Colorado to the world famous Moab, Utah along the beautiful 148-mile Kokopelli trail. Distances will range from day to day between 9 and 43 miles. This is a grueling event that will challenge the most seasoned athletes yet it is designed so that less experienced ultrarunners can train for and successfully complete the course. The entire length of the trail is stunningly beautiful with jagged canyons and breathtaking vistas.

Ute 100

August 9 - August 10

The most scenic 100 mile trail running race in North America. The Ute 100 is an ultra-marathon in the La Sal mountains of Southern Utah. The race is 100ish miles with close to 36,000 feet of elevation change. The event begins and ends at the Mount Peale Animal Sanctuary and Healing Center in Old La Sal, Utah, about 40 minutes south and east of Moab, UT.

Ute 100 Mile Trail Run

August 9 - August 10

The highest race of any distance outside of Colorado. The annual Ute 100 Mile Trail Run sees runners from 30 plus states and multiple countries. This event is very small with only about 150 runners over a 42 hour time limit in the La Sal Mountains. This event gives back by helping maintain several sections of trails that the race uses.
