Spanish Valley Vineyard and Winery specializes in single-vineyard estate-bottled wines. That means from the growth of the grapes, through fermentation and bottling, they handle the entire process at this single location. Their wine never leaves their Moab property until it is 100% bottled, packaged, and ready for you! The dry rocky Moab earth makes for delicious white German-varietal wines which are the showcase wines at the vineyard.

The vineyard dates back more than 40 years when it was a Utah State University agricultural experiment initiated to determine whether grapes could be a cash crop that could help bolster the local economy as uranium mining was becoming less profitable.

They offer tastings, sales, tours, and can host your special event.

$12 tastings and $50 vineyard tours.

Castle Creek Winery is located on the banks of the Colorado River, just 15 miles up stream from Moab. It is built on the site of a historic, and still working, ranch. Castle Creek Winery produces red and white wines from locally grown grapes. The sandy soils and long warm growing season around Moab are ideal for many of the best grape varieties. The winery processes the grape crop of a dozen local growers into 6,500 gallons of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Gewurztraminer. Visit the Castle Creek tasting room overlooking the Colorado River in the heart of Utah’s spectacular Red Rock Country.
