Most of our climbing is on sandstone: To prevent erosion, please do not climb sandstone within 24 hours of rain. If the ground is wet, the rock is wet!

Wall Street Rock Climbing Area

Wall Street 

Navajo sandstone with roadside belaying and excellent access from Moab with well over a hundred climbs from 5.4 TRs to 5.12, mixed sport and trad. An excellent area to get a feel for climbing sandstone and enjoying an afternoon. 

Indian Creek Rock Climbing Area

Indian Creek

One of the most famous climbing areas in the entire world because of its sandstone cliffs that splinter into perfect, hundred-foot-tall cracks. Prime Indian Creek season runs in early spring until the heat of summer and late autumn until first snowfall. 

Big Bend Rock Climbing Area

Big Bend 

A bouldering field with over 118 climbs off Highway 128. Expect to be sandbagged; boulders here run V2-V11 and often feel harder than the grade. You won't find many highballs here though, so try your best!

Morning Glory Natural Bridge

The most popular canyoneering route visitors can explore during their trip to Moab is to and through Morning Glory Natural Bridge, which is located at the end of Grandstaff Canyon. Adventurers will start in Sand Flats Recreation Area, then hike through a series of sandstone fins before starting a series of rappels.
