Campgrounds within the National Parks, State Parks & National
Forests generally have less amenities than privately owned campgrounds
(no showers, etc.), however they are often located within exceptionally

Individual sites, which are $20 per night, accommodate up to ten people. All these sites may be reserved for nights between March 1st and October 31st. Reservations must be made no less than four days and no more than 180 days in advance. There is an additional $9 booking fee for reservations. To make a reservation, visit recreation.gov, or call (877) 444-6777, (877) 833-6777 (TDD), or (518) 885-3639. During the winter months (November 1st to February 28th) sites 1 - 24 are available on a self-serve basis at the campground. |

Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Bathrooms, fire grates, picnic tables, tent pads and water are available year-round. Fee is $15 per night. Squaw Flat typically fills every day from late March through June and again from early September to mid-October. |

Commercial Campgrounds & Cabins
Commercial (privately owned) campgrounds generally have many conveniences such as showers,
running water, RV hook-ups, flush toilets, and more. They also generally
accept reservations. This list includes all commercial campgrounds
in the Moab area.

Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Campgrounds
There is an abundance of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) campgrounds
on the public lands surrounding Moab. BLM campgrounds are located in extremely
scenic locations, are very well maintained, and provide the perfect environment
for family oriented camping. Many BLM campsites are suitable for RVs, although
hook-ups are not available. Individual campsites are available
on a first come - first serve basis, however some campgrounds have reservable
group sites.
